Innovative Plow Solution

Thanks to Trustee Cliff and the Road Department, we have another plow to clean the roads with this winter.  When ODOT sold the township an International truck for $500 after the township garage fire, it came with a snow plow blade we didn’t initially need. With some minor metalwork this blade was able to be used on the township’s loader.  For under $5,000, we essentially have a second snow plow. This will take the wear and tear off the one-ton truck which has been used for plowing and also acts as a reliable backup for the ODOT International truck.
